Pediatric Neurologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated clinical faculty member to join our team at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. As a clinical faculty member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students, and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge through research and scholarship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a multi-specialty academic practice
• Teach and mentor medical students in a variety of settings, including the classroom and clinical settings
• Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and curricula
• Participate in research and scholarship activities, including the development of research proposals and the publication of research findings

Requirements:

• MD or equivalent degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology
• Additional training in either sleep medicine or epilepsy
• Expertise in interpreting EEGs
• Expertise in managing high prevalence neurologic conditions in childhood
