Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Worker to join our team at Chimes. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and custodial services across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of custodial staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality cleaning and maintenance services.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure the efficient use of resources and the maintenance of a clean and safe environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective delivery of cleaning and maintenance services.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and report on the quality and quantity of work completed by custodial staff.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
  • At least six months of custodial experience.
  • Custodial training desired.
  • Van driving experience preferred.
  • Candidates with disabilities preferred.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, go up and down stairs, reach above the head, bend, kneel, stoop, lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. as needed. The ability to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditions is also required.
