Job Summary

The Lead Worker is a key role in our janitorial team, responsible for supporting individuals with significant disabilities in developing work skills and enhancing their ability to communicate with customers in a workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Janitorial Supervisor in the overall direction, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of cleaning crews.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to be done in accordance with contract requirements, Didlake's policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevator banks, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  • Operate power equipment such as two-stage snow blowers and remove snow from walkways, building entrances, and dock ramps during inclement weather.
  • Train employees in how to do assigned work and in using equipment and supplies appropriately.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems of employees and customers.
Requirements
  • Strong business ethics and personal appearance.
  • Ability to work with a positive team spirit and produce quality work.
  • Ability to follow safety standards and guidelines in the proper use of equipment and other activities.
  • Ability to complete and maintain all Didlake required training.
