Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Progressive Care Unit to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN. This 17-week contract offers a competitive salary of $84,684 per 13 weeks (approximately $2,141 per week) for 36 hours of work.

About the Role:

This PCU Registered Nurse position is available in Albany, Georgia, and requires at least 2 years of recent experience in the field. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient's condition and report any changes or concerns to the physician or supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid GA or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
  • Possess current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
