About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center. As a Pre Operative LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Job Summary

The LPN will be responsible for providing daily support to the unit leadership and responding to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice. You will use your nursing skills and judgment to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs
  • Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care
  • Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects
  • Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan
  • Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses
  • Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
  • Current license in good standing in New York as an LPN
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
  • Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health
  • Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
  • Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff
