Chief of Staff

HP Development Company, L.P. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic priorities of our SVP leader by leveraging your understanding of the Strategy team and cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure alignment on top requirements and priorities of SVP leader with Leadership Team Staff
  • Help Leadership Team Staff deliver and exceed performance expectations by sharing relevant context, insights, and examples
  • Collaborate with other Chiefs of Staff across the Business Unit and Company to help identify and resolve issues quickly
  • Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business issues
  • Manage non-exempt/exempt individual contributors and have accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction, and people management
  • Lead executive recruitment efforts and support development of direct staff members
  • Understand scope, timing, ownership, and quality requirements for key priorities to help ensure owners deliver outstanding work
  • Provide operational leadership and project management for targeted projects led directly by the SVP
  • Partner with CoS for Business Unit President and Chief Strategy Officer to ensure SVP is aligned on top requirements and needs of BU President and Chief Strategy Officer
  • Responsible for executive communications and program management of organization key engagement initiatives

Education and Experience:
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, marketing, product management, or a related field
