Job Description

As a Sales Specialist for our Western US region, you will support the Regional Director of Sales, Regional Director of Operations, and Community Executive Directors in achieving community occupancy and sales goals. Your primary objective will be to assist communities during SLC vacancies or work with communities experiencing occupancy and census challenges to increase occupancy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop census through community-level support, meeting monthly sales productivity and move-in expectations.
  • Manage lead database through accurate data entry, report utilization, periodic database clean-up, and analyzing key reports and trends to develop strategies.
  • Understand key services and amenities, as well as levels of care/programs provided at the community.
  • Complete daily internal sales activities by effectively converting inquiry calls to appointments, conducting quality tours with prospects and families, and contacting prospects and families via phone, email, and mail.
  • Distribute approved marketing communications, including notes, newsletters, promotional flyers, invitations, and brochures, as part of the sales process.
  • Provide accurate customer information, pricing, incentive information, and other details regarding new deposits to the ED, BOM, and community team for lease preparations.
  • E nsure the community property and team members provide an outstanding first impression for prospects.
  • Respond to walk-in tours and phone inquiries immediately.
  • Attend daily stand-up and inform the community team of daily appointments, events, and advertising.
  • Complete a daily sales report with inquiry triage information and distribute to the community team.
  • Provide weekly and monthly data and forecasts as requested by the ED, Regional team, or home office.
  • Conduct tours, luncheons, or other strategies with prospective clients and client groups.
  • Visit prospects in their homes, hospitals, or other healthcare facilities.
  • Follow up with inquiry calls and work sales activities and processes throughout the buying cycle.
  • Document weekly inventory of room availability and room readiness inventory.
  • Assist with processing necessary information for successful move-ins, coordinate with departments, and prepare for new residents' arrivals.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure apartments are prepared for new residents and model apartments are available and ready to show.
  • Coordinate with other team members for special luncheons/tours, special events, and promotions for community contact groups as needed.
  • Evaluate and understand the competition and incorporate knowledge into sales strategy regarding pricing and selling value.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interaction with coworkers and other departments, supporting a positive and professional image through actions and dress.
  • Complete pre-move-in paperwork and ensure regulatory compliance with Department Heads.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations/Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least three years' experience in multi-community/regional sales manager role with supervisory experience.
