Job Summary

At Prisma Health, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using radionuclides. Your primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of technical procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging, non-imaging, function studies, and therapeutic exams according to established departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures, including radiopharmaceuticals administered and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including proper positioning and radiation safety measures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and patient care.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry with five years' experience in nuclear medicine).
  • 1-year Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
