We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals recovering from cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Coordinate patient care through all phases of the interdisciplinary care plan, including Phase II and III Cardiac Rehabilitation protocols.
- Monitor patients with permanent pacemakers and evaluate pacemaker function on telemetry.
- Apply and utilize telemetry for monitoring of heart rate, regularity, and exercise tolerance.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. ARNP also accepted.
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
- Two years previous RN experience working with cardiac patients, preferably on a telemetry unit or coronary care unit.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
