The Autism Waiver Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of Therapeutic Integration, providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to Direct Care Workers. This position requires strong management skills, knowledge of autism spectrum disorder, and experience in providing training or consultation in this area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative supervision for up to 10 PTEs
- Recruit, staff, and train Direct Care Workers
- Develop and implement staffing and activity schedules
- Develop and maintain ongoing documentation concerning student participation, achievements, and incidents
- Develop meaningful and interactive programming for program participants
- Monitor program implementation in accordance with all funding requirements
- Conduct regular reviews for accountability and program performance
To be successful in this role, you must have a master's or doctorate degree in special education or a related field, and at least 5 years' experience in providing training or consultation in the area of autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. You must also possess a valid driver's license and have a strong understanding of management principles and practices.
