Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Quality Control Department in a large Military/Defense Manufacturing company based in Southern Alabama.

This is a direct-hire, permanent career opportunity with a competitive compensation and benefits package, as well as 100% paid relocation reimbursement.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of ensuring adherence to part quality standards and maintaining or surpassing quality control benchmarks.

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for leading the inspection and monitoring of programs and processes, ensuring employees are equipped with necessary tools and standards, and providing comprehensive training and audits on employees' quality progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to part quality standards defined by Product Engineering.
  • Maintain or surpass quality control benchmarks during the inspection process.
  • Conduct inspections using artifacts and electronic gauging.
  • Develop, sustain, and enhance quality control methods and procedures.
  • Provide timely performance feedback to all quality department members.
  • Immediately report to management any quality or productivity issues beyond lead resolution.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of firearms, including quality, features, and safety aspects.
  • Demonstrated track record of at least 5 years of successful work in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cross-functional team-building skills with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
