Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Quality Management
    • Ensure the equipment and processes used are safe for associates and the environment, meeting safety goals.
    • Follow the Quality Management and Environmental Management System and Safety guidelines daily.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and correct quality problems.
    • Lead teams to improve processes, quality, cost, and associate development.
  • Team Management
    • Advise, direct, and supervise production operators on expectations.
    • Resolve employee concerns, monitor associate performance, vacation, and attendance.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Monitor and react to product flow to ensure correct manning strategy to meet customer demands.
    • Drive continuous improvement in 5S, housekeeping, organization, and preventive maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED from an accredited school; Bachelor's degree preferred from a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing facility in a supervisory position.
