Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Project Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of customer projects from order opportunity to handoff to services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively communicate with the Front Office to inform and mitigate any execution barriers to order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate meetings with plant stakeholders to track progress of order fulfillment through scheduling, engineering, procurement, kitting, assembly, test, and pack out.
  • Identify, mitigate, log, and track execution and cost risks throughout the project duration.
  • Work with plant flow controllers and engineering to resolve long lead time and missing parts via ship shorts, part substitutions, and deviations acceptable to the customer.
  • Review customer change orders to define and communicate impact on schedule and cost, providing input to the pricing team.
  • Coordinate witness testing as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Understanding of how customer orders progress through gates at a manufacturing plant: scheduling, approvals, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and pack out for shipment.
  • Experience working with ETO (Engineer to Order) / custom order products and familiarity with different types of applications and complexity features related to ETO products.
  • Ability to proactively identify execution risks to on-time delivery of the order throughout the fulfillment process of the order life cycle.
  • Familiarity with ERP system (AMAPS, SAP, MAPICS), Windchill, Symmetry & BFO.
