Job Summary

The Master Critical Facility Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mission-critical facilities equipment and systems. This involves planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in data center operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating at peak efficiency.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues.
  • Monitor and maintain data center equipment to ensure better than 99.999% uptime.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement procedures for critical facility operations and maintenance.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience supporting mission-critical environments.
  • Current electrical/mechanical Journeyman's license preferred.
  • Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill, and competence in the area of non-expertise.
  • Active US Government Top Secret Security/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with a Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment

The Master Critical Facility Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with constant visits throughout the building and rooftop. The individual will be around equipment and dust, moving through confined spaces, and in extremes of heat and cold. Position may require travel to other locations for public relations, meetings, training, and education.
