Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Code, and Test New Software Applications or Features: Develop software applications or features based on customer requirements, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Back-End Systems and Critical External Interfaces: Design and architect back-end systems and critical external interfaces for integration with other commercial and government software solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange.
  • Software Enhancement and Debugging: Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing software to improve performance, maintainability, and security, ensuring it remains up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Software Development and Deployment: Develop robust and high-quality software, putting the user's requirements first and driving towards a working product on-time, while ensuring smooth deployment and integration into production environments.
  • Testing and Continuous Integration Pipelines: Build testing and continuous integration pipelines to verify code functionality, reduce risk, and speed up deployment, ensuring that software meets the required standards before it's released.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Top Secret Security Clearance: Possess a current Top Secret security clearance, ensuring access to sensitive information and classified projects.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Industry Experience and Skills: Possess 2+ years of industry experience as a software engineer or similar role, with expertise in at least two programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C++, Go, Java, or equivalent high-level language), containerization technologies (Docker, Podman), and Linux-based development environments (Ubuntu, RedHat Enterprise Linux, or derivatives).
Preferred Qualifications
  • SCI Eligibility: Possess SCI eligibility, enabling access to sensitive information and classified projects.
  • Cloud and Cybersecurity Experience: Have experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as experience in the Cyber Operations Domain.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code and Agile Development: Possess an understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform preferred) and familiarity with Agile development practices and the Scaled Agile Framework.
