Position Overview
As a Lead Technical Accountant, you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of individuals by providing cutting-edge digital financial solutions.

This remote position allows you to collaborate with a skilled team within the Center of Excellence (COE) to enhance automation and improve the efficiency of our reporting functions, while also addressing the implementation of new US GAAP standards as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate across departments to identify potential accounting challenges and propose effective solutions related to business transactions.
2. Monitor business operations to ensure timely recognition of accounting and financial reporting issues, preparing comprehensive accounting memorandums for senior management and auditors.
3. Work with the COE to compile Consolidated Annual Audited Financial Statements and manage quarterly compliance and covenant reporting.
4. Assist in daily and monthly reporting that supports financial closing activities.
5. Facilitate financial audits by preparing audit requests and compiling technical accounting assessments while maintaining audit tracker reports.
6. Partner with advisory services to analyze accounting standards and evaluate their business implications for new or revised technical accounting treatments.
7. Support the development and review of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
8. Engage in formal and informal reviews with business units to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statement disclosures.
9. Prepare and deliver training sessions and presentations on various accounting topics.
10. Assist in evaluating, updating, and maintaining key controls over financial reporting and related reports.

Represent the organization as a technical expert in Consolidation and Cash Flow Financial reporting under ASC 810 and ASC 860.

Qualifications:
- CPA certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong technical GAAP knowledge, particularly with ASC 842, ASC 810, ASC 230, and ASC 860
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Public Company and/or Public Accounting experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with Oracle is a plus

Salary Range:
$97,000 to $135,000 annually, plus benefits. This range reflects the expected salary for this role, taking into account location, experience, and other job-related factors.
