About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Staff Project Manager to join our team at Engineering Consulting Services. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for managing construction materials testing (CMT) projects, reviewing daily reports, and assisting with issue resolution and training of field staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets for geotechnical and CMT projects, and prepare invoices.
  • Assist with or perform tasks such as boring and test pit layouts, site access evaluation, drilling package preparation, and utility clearance.
  • Perform research on local geologic history and supervise field work performed by drilling/test pit crews.
  • Classify soil and assign laboratory testing, and assist with preparation of proposals for geotechnical and CMT projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
  • No experience required, but a professional license is necessary to progress in your career.
  • A valid driver's license is required if driving for or on behalf of ECS.
