As a key member of our inpatient care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform physical assessments of patients, review medical history, and interpret diagnostic tests/results to provide effective treatment.
- Conduct preventive health screenings based on patient age, history, and unique needs to provide proactive healthcare.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate patient records to ensure a comprehensive understanding of patient history.
- Perform specialty care medical procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines and clinical roles as necessary within inpatient settings.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in inpatient specialty care by assessing, problem-solving, and evaluating clinical and system issues.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA license.
- Board Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
This is a full-time position with a Saturday-Monday schedule, 7a-7p. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
