Charlestown is a picturesque 110-acre continuing care retirement community situated near Baltimore in the delightful neighborhood of Catonsville, Maryland. As part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, we are a national leader in senior living and health care, with campuses across 11 states and expanding.
Employment Type: Part-Time / 24 Hours Per Week / 3 Days a Week
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our secure retirement community. All cleaning tasks will be performed within our premises, eliminating the need for travel.
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, starting at $16 per hour.
Your Impact:
- Performing cleaning duties in resident homes within Independent Living or Nursing Home settings.
- Ensuring the community's cleanliness using specialized cleaning equipment.
- Maintaining public restrooms, including cleaning counters, mirrors, sinks, and fixtures.
- Cleaning common areas such as lobbies and living rooms, which includes vacuuming, dusting, de-cluttering, and trash removal.
- Cleaning educational spaces, including dusting and vacuuming classrooms, whiteboards, and furniture.
- Assisting with the collection and disposal of waste, including replacing trash can liners.
- Maintaining carpeted areas through extraction, interim cleaning, and vacuuming.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment for carpets and hard floors.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in operating housekeeping vehicles safely.
- Ability to engage professionally and responsively with residents, their families, staff, and vendors.
