We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Charlestown, a beautiful 110-acre continuing care retirement community located in Catonsville, Maryland. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of resident homes and common areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain resident homes, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, including lobbies, living rooms, and public bathrooms
  • Assist with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
  • Operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, and trash removal equipment safely and effectively

Requirements

  • Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
  • Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
  • Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
  • Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
