Avionics Technician Job Description

As an Avionics Technician at Dassault Aviation, you will be responsible for operating various digital and analog test sets to troubleshoot complex avionics systems. You will also perform minor metal repairs, such as extracting bad screws and replacing racks, and swing and compensate aircraft compass systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate digital and analog test sets to troubleshoot avionics systems
  • Perform minor metal repairs, such as extracting bad screws and replacing racks
  • Swing and compensate aircraft compass systems
  • Install and perform ground and flight checks of all avionics systems
  • Ensure all work is performed to FAA and Dassault standards
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two (2) years experience as an Avionics Technician in a business jet environment
  • Supplies own tools required to perform job
  • Effective communication with internal and external customers
