Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Family Medicine operates in an Advanced Practice capacity, serving as a clinical authority within the outpatient environment. Under the supervision of the medical director, you will provide comprehensive and preventive healthcare, perform evaluations, manage illnesses, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications for both pediatric and adult populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit proficiency in Family Medicine.
- Deliver health education, preventive measures, and treatment for various health conditions affecting adults and children.
- Offer detailed guidance and education regarding disease management.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding follow-up care and referrals.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the Family Medicine NP/PA practice scope.
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with conflict resolution skills.
- Function independently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid California Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license.
- Graduation from an accredited NP/PA Master's Program.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to maintain licensure.
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
