Job Summary:

The Dental Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the dentist and dental hygienist in providing primary care dental services to patients. This includes assisting during procedures, handling sterilization, and managing dental instruments and supplies. The successful candidate must be able to ensure that treatment rooms are prepared and maintained, and that patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a Positive Experience for Patients: Show care and concern for patients during their visit.
  • Prepare and Maintain Treatment Rooms: Set up treatment rooms and prepare instruments and supplies for procedures.
  • Support the Dentist and Hygienist: Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during procedures to provide top-quality care.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure treatment rooms are clean and organized according to sterilization procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Update Patient Records: Update patients' radiographs, review health histories, and record accurate treatment notes.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant
