US Auto Trust LLC is a leading automotive group in California, proud to represent legendary brands such as Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar, Hyundai, Genesis, and Cadillac.

We are seeking a skilled Experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at our Cadillac Pasadena Dealership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle repairs with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
  • Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or requested by the customer.
  • Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Document all work performed and recommendations on the repair order.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
  • Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
  • Inspect and test drive newly delivered vehicles for obvious damage and missing major components and drivability functions.
  • Keep the shop area neat and clean.
  • Maintain and hold accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience preferred.
  • German Automotive Knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Customer satisfaction-driven and energetic team player.
  • Problem-solving by analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Master technician skills a plus.
  • ASE certified is a plus.
