Audit Project Manager Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Project Manager Senior to join our team at First Horizon Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, providing supervision and guidance to team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit reports.
Key Responsibilities- Lead audit engagements with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and effective completion of assignments.
- Supervise and guide team members, providing coaching and feedback to ensure the development of their skills and knowledge.
- Review and draft audit reports, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with management to discuss audit scope, status, and findings, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Meet time and staffing budgets for assigned audits, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Provide on-the-job training to staff auditors, including meaningful and relevant feedback for improvement.
- Conduct the complete audit life cycle for complex or high-risk audit components, ensuring the identification of risks and the development of effective recommendations.
- Supervise findings follow-up validation, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of audit results.
- Ensure audit issues are well-defined, root causes are identified, and recommendations for improved controls and processes are communicated to management.
- Bachelor's Degree (4-Year Accredited College)
- 6 – 10 Years related auditing experience
- Relevant financial services industry knowledge (Treasury/Asset Liability Management, Investments, Regulatory Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Trust, Operations)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines
- Thorough understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards
- Certification highly preferred (CIA, CPA, CISA, or other relevant professional designations)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- TeamMate + (preferred)
