Conductor Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Conductor Trainee to join our team at BNSF. As a Conductor Trainee, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trains and railcars.

• Operate and maintain railcars and locomotives to ensure safe and efficient train movement.
• Monitor and report on train conditions, including speed, clearance, and safety.
• Communicate effectively with other crew members and dispatchers to ensure smooth train operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on railcars and locomotives.
• Respond to emergency situations and take corrective action to prevent accidents.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work safely in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to see, learn, and interpret hand signals from near and far.
• Ability to work at various heights above the ground.
• Ability to bend, lift, walk, and stand occasionally with breaks.
• Ability to sit frequently with breaks.
