Conductor Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Conductor Trainee. As a key member of our railway operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of freight across our network.

• Switch railcars and ensure safe train movement
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
• Monitor and report daily work
• Operate track switches and derails to change train routing
• Inspect cars and observe track conditions

This role requires working in extreme all-weather conditions, walking on uneven surfaces, and performing tasks in a safety-sensitive work environment. You will also be exposed to loud noise and fumes, and work on and around heavy and moving machinery.

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to report for duty at designated work locations
• Ability to work safely in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
