Job Summary

This role supports the Ozarks Regional YMCA's mission by ensuring a clean and safe environment for members and program participants. The Environmental Services Staff will work under the supervision of the Director to maintain facility cleanliness and provide excellent customer service.

Essential Functions:

  1. Be knowledgeable and adhere to Safety Policies, Procedures, and Emergency Response Plans.
  2. General cleaning and care of the facility, including offices, studios, workout areas, and locker rooms.
  3. Replenish supplies daily and follow a daily, weekly, and monthly check-off list to maintain facility appearance.
  4. Record unusual events or occurrences and inform responsible personnel as instructed.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Prior housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred.
  3. Ability to work with little or no supervision and basic mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
  4. Attention to detail and initiative to complete tasks.
  5. Supplied references will demonstrate dependability and reliability.
  6. Mature, responsible, easy-going individuals with good communication skills.
  7. Ability to interact appropriately with kids and adults in a positive manner.
  8. Alignment with and demonstration of the YMCA's four core values.
  9. CPR Pro & First Aid Certification required within the first 30 days.
