About the Role
As a Caring Support Professional with Perfect Fit Home Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing personalized assistance with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide standby support and reminders for activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, and ambulation.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients through regular interaction and offer emotional support.
- Assist with medication reminders, meal preparation, and transportation services.
- Document client activities and note changes in physical or mental status.
- Support clients with memory impairments and provide transportation as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience supporting adults in a home or institutional environment is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory.
- A valid state driver's license is required.
Physical Demands
- This role involves moderate physical exertion, including standing, walking, sitting, and occasional requirements for twisting/turning, bending at the waist, lifting above head and shoulders, and routine lifting and transferring/repositioning of clients with loads up to 35 lbs.
- Normal levels of hearing and vision, including near and far seeing, color discrimination, field of vision, and depth perception.
Mental and Emotional Requirements
- The ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, as well as reviewing and preparing detailed reports, activity logs, and medical records.
Estimated Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per year
