About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Women's Soccer Program Support Specialist to join our team at West Hills Community College. The successful candidate will provide support to the Head Coach in various aspects of the intercollegiate program, including practice planning, game planning, student-athlete training and development, and film/video breakdown.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with interscholastic or intercollegiate programs and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and community members.

As a Women's Soccer Program Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the coaching staff to develop and implement effective training plans, coordinate logistics for home and away games, and assist with recruiting activities. You will also be responsible for performing other duties as assigned to support the overall objective of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the Head Coach in practice planning, game planning, and student-athlete training and development
  • Assist with coordinating statistics and film crew for home and away games
  • Work at sport camps, outreach activities, and fundraising events in the athletic department
  • Assist in coordination of concession stands in the athletic department
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objective of this position

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from High School or equivalent
  • One year experience working with interscholastic or intercollegiate programs
  • Valid driver's license (may be required)

Estimated Salary: $24,000 - $35,000 per year
