About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at our Pullman Dairy Queen location. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a trusted team of employees, guiding and supporting them to achieve their full potential.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive working relationship with all restaurant staff, promoting a cooperative and pleasant working environment that maximizes employee morale, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop shift managers, conducting formal employee performance reviews to ensure the team is equipped to provide an excellent guest experience.
  • Financial Management: Analyze profit and loss statements to optimize sales and profit, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure the restaurant's financial success.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, projecting changes in demand throughout the year and adjusting labor accordingly to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed to drive sales volumes.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Personally respond to customer complaints, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Organize and implement local restaurant marketing initiatives, incorporating regional and national marketing promotions to increase restaurant sales.
  • Decision-Making: Exercise good judgment in decision-making, reporting issues to the district manager as necessary.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, with quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to adapt and engage with a diverse crew and wide range of customers, proven track record of effective management, and ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Leadership: Strong sense of ownership, available to the store and crew 24/7, and able to motivate the team in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year (based on experience).
