Job Summary

The Human Performance and Nutrition Research Institute (HPNRI) at Oklahoma State University is seeking a dedicated and innovative Implementation Scientist (IS) with expertise in a health-related field, focusing on implementation science and methodology. HPNRI aims to understand human health through the study of human performance and nutrition. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, executing, and evaluating methodologies for various health-related interventions to improve health outcomes in Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute methodologies for health-related interventions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health-related interventions
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Research and Strategic Initiatives to support the development and monitoring of metrics to assess the impact of the work
  • Disseminate findings to inform the field
  • Support ethical research practices in developing implementation strategies
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Implementation science, public health, or a related field
  • One year of post-doctoral experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in implementation science, public health, or a related field
  • Experience in data capture and reporting
  • Experience in implementation science methods, performance improvement, and outcomes measurement
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with advanced data analytics and data visualization
  • Strong analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of project management experience
  • Proven experience in computational biology, with a focus on problem definition, exploratory data analysis, and hypothesis testing
  • Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling
