LabCorp is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. John Jane Phillips in Bartlesville, OK. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and ensuring the accuracy of test results.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including instrumentation and automated systems
- Develop and implement new procedures and protocols to improve laboratory efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of testing and results
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and methodologies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
- Previous experience as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technologist is highly preferred
- ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
