We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Government Affairs Intern to join our team at Premier, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about transforming the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on complex policy issues and assist in the development of policy recommendations and advocacy materials.
- Engage with hospitals, Premier members, external stakeholders, and Capitol Hill offices to advance our advocacy strategy.
- Support the Government Affairs team in convening advocacy coalitions, Premier Government Affairs Network member meetings, and other DC-based meetings and events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex content to various audiences.
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to analyze data and create engaging presentations.
- Previous experience in healthcare, business, or policy, with a demonstrated interest in healthcare performance improvement.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and show value from their efforts, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- A competitive salary range of $43,000 - $79,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
