Position Responsibilities:
- Manufacture RxD dispersions while adhering to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, quality standards, and corporate policies.
- Conduct routine cleanouts and equipment changeovers to ensure optimal operation.
- Monitor in-process and post-batch data to maintain quality control.
- Operate process control systems effectively to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Utilize a strong understanding of process chemistry and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve potential issues.
The operator will work collaboratively within the operations team, promoting an environment of continuous improvement and adherence to EHS standards. This role reports directly to the Work Station Manager for RxD and requires flexibility to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in chemical production.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and operate new processes independently.
- Strong knowledge of EHS requirements related to chemical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Standard Work Processes and Operational Discipline Principles.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in relation to dispersion manufacturing.
- Proficient in Continuous Improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
- Effective teamwork and conflict management skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate raw material additions.
- Ability to utilize automation systems such as PLC and HMI panels.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and other computer applications.
- Familiarity with Quality Systems and ISO standards.
- Experience in batch production and process control.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment operation, including pumps and filters.
Shift Details:
This position requires working 12-hour rotating shifts, with a schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week.
