Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including workstations, equipment, and tools.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Inventory & Stock Management:

Assist in the management of kitchen supplies and food inventory.

Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate meal production, meet daily service goals, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Compliance:

Follow all hospital, Sodexo, and department-specific policies, including compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.

Requirements:

Experience

Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is essential.

Skills:

Ability to prepare and cook a variety of meals, following recipes and dietary guidelines.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle kitchen equipment.

Certifications:

Food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe) are a plus.
