Business Intelligence Analyst

Flint Hills Resources is seeking a talented and driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at our Wichita, Kansas headquarters.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our business transformation journey by leveraging data and technology to drive operational excellence and deliver business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal business and operational teams to identify data-driven business opportunities.
  • Work with our corporate data teams to make datasets from different sources widely accessible for business use, promoting a data-driven culture.
  • Utilize tools such as Alteryx to process and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data, creating valuable dataset views.
  • Develop new work processes to enhance data quality and availability objectives.
  • Generate actionable insights and aid decision-making through the creation of Business Intelligence reports using tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Collaborate with our IT/DT network teams to advance data pipeline and automation strategies.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong economic thinking skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to design intuitive data visualizations that meet customer needs.
  • Self-motivation and a drive to create innovative solutions and see them applied.
  • Ability to connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
