Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of NOC engineers and technicians.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance NOC operations.
  • Foster a collaborative and proactive team environment.
Network Operations:
  • Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of network incidents and outages, minimizing service disruption and impact.
  • Implement and manage network monitoring tools and technologies.
Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies to improve network reliability and performance.
  • Plan and manage network upgrades, expansions, and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align NOC activities with overall company objectives.
Incident & Problem Management:
  • Lead the response to critical network incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on customers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze network performance metrics and generate regular reports.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize network performance and capacity planning.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the quality and reliability of external services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide updates on network performance and incidents.
Budget & Resource Management:
  • Develop and manage the NOC budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Oversee procurement and deployment of network equipment and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in network operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Skills:
    • Extensive knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and technologies.
    • Proven experience with network monitoring and management tools.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
