Director of Institutional Research

About the Role

The Director of Institutional Research will lead the development, management, and coordination of Institutional Research operations. This role will collaborate with faculty and staff to compile, analyze, and report a wide range of institutional data, including institutional characteristics, enrollments, and student achievements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely collection and reporting of information to maintain compliance with Federal, State, System, and University reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of online databases and the composite information system storing archival information for retrieval.
  • Develop technologically driven enhancements for providing internal constituents with access to data and information for decision making.
  • Manage daily activities of the department, including recruiting, selection, hiring, training, professional development, mentoring, counseling, and performance evaluations.
  • Analyze University data and prepare reports and executive summaries.
  • Administer the budget and oversee the fiscal operations of assigned department.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ten years of related experience.
Work Environment

This is a non-remote position, and the selected candidate will be required to work on campus.
