Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as a Regional Integrity Support Services Manager. This role will provide direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning, ensuring the execution of the Executive Commissioner's goals and compliance with regulations and Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs and assesses the evaluation of Integrity Support Services and implements or recommends improvements.
  • Provides overall vision, leadership, and strategic direction for the region.
  • Manages Integrity Support Services programs to achieve program goals and objectives for the region and agency.
  • Ensures execution of the Executive Commissioner's goals and compliance with regulations and Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) standards.
  • Coordinates support services with the Director for Regional Administrative Services, including purchasing, budget, records management, business services, etc.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to Office of Social Services (OSS) and Access and Eligibility Services (AES) program areas.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration and management.
  • Ability to establish goals and objectives.
  • Ability to devise solutions to administrative problems.
  • Ability to testify at hearings.
  • Ability to plan, delegate assignments, and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to develop, implement, communicate, and lead an organizational vision which integrates key state and program goals, priorities, values, and other factors.
  • Ability to promote and support creative thinking.
  • Ability to explain, advocate, express facts and ideas, and negotiate with individuals and groups, internally and externally.
  • Ability to build, establish, and maintain effective working relationships and coalitions.
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions and produce results through strategic planning and the implementation and evaluation of programs and policies.

Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work overtime outside of normal hours of operation which may include weekends when called upon.
  • Must be able to work under constant pressure to meet required deadlines.
