About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Leasing and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Residential One LLC. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $58,000 - $68,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with a focus on leasing and marketing. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including prospecting, inspecting apartments, and demonstrating community features. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain accurate records and assist management with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Leasing:
    • Greet prospects and qualify them by covering all criteria.
    • Inspect models and available apartments, communicating related service needs.
    • Closing sales, updating availability reports, and processing applications for approvals.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Accept rental payments and give receipts to residents.
    • Maintain current resident files and accurate monthly commission records.
    • Assist management with other various tasks as required.
  • Neighborhood Marketing:
    • Participate in outreach marketing activities to obtain prospective residents.
    • Advise residents of referral concessions (if permitted).
    • Conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities.
  • Safety Responsibilities:
    • Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules.
    • Correct unsafe conditions in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' apartment management experience.
  • LIHTC experience and deep knowledge of tax credit programs.
  • Experience with District of Columbia laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
