Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Direct Care Team Member to join our team at Network Human Services. As a member of our Direct Care team, you will provide direct resident care, participate in routine residence maintenance, document resident and residence electronic health records, and participate in ongoing staff in-service and meetings.

About the Job
This is a part-time position working 16 hours per week, with scheduled shifts on Saturday from 2pm-10pm and Sunday from 2pm-10pm. The estimated salary for this role is $25,000-$30,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities
• Provide direct resident care, including activities of daily living (ADL), socialization, development and communication skills, personal hygiene, transportation, and leisure and recreation skills
• Participate in routine residence maintenance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Document resident and residence electronic health records, including periodic resident status assessments, daily task analysis charts, and ongoing inter-staff communication in T-logs
• Participate in ongoing staff in-service and meetings, including training and education on resident care and services

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, medication certification, good interpersonal relationship and communication skills, maturity, and ability to handle confidential information. You must also be proficient in first aid, CPR, PMT, abuse/neglect, DDS medication administration, and other resident-specific medical and habilitative needs. Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records are preferred. A valid Connecticut driver's license and eligibility for Network, Inc.'s auto insurance are also required.
