Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Direct Care Support Professional to join our team at Network Human Services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide direct care and support to residents, focusing on their daily living needs, socialization, and personal development. This is a part-time position with varied shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive resident care, including activities of daily living (ADL), individual plan goal activities, and socialization.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records, including periodic status assessments and task analysis charts.
  • Participate in routine residence maintenance, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Responsible for safeguarding and handling residents' belongings and funds.
  • Document medication administration and other relevant records as directed.
  • Contribute to an ongoing program of staff in-service and meetings.
  • Adhere to all community residence policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Medication certification and First Aid/CPR training essential.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  5. Proficient in basic computer skills and familiar with electronic health records.
  6. Valid Connecticut Driver's License and eligibility for insurance.
  7. Ability to lift and assist participants when necessary.
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position with varying shifts, including some weekend work. The salary for this role is estimated at around $35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
