Key Responsibilities

• Execute tasks as per the instructions detailed in the Standard Operation Sheet (SOS), Job Element Sheet (JES), and/or packing directives for all assigned duties.

• Conduct die change and setup responsibilities.

• Load and unload components into and out of welding machines, dies, trunions, and/or assembly fixtures.

• Operate machinery that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and/or rivets components and/or sub-assemblies.

• Carry out manual assembly, welding, and tapping tasks as necessary.

• Ensure the quality and quantity of produced components meet the required specifications and production targets.

• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

• Perform basic maintenance on assigned machinery.

• Complete all necessary documentation related to the role, including but not limited to: start-up checklists, pre-shift inspection sheets, labor records, scrap documentation, downtime tracking forms, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.
  • Fulfill any other reasonable requests made by management.

• Travel, including overnight stays, may be required occasionally.

• Be available for overtime work before and/or after regular shifts and/or on weekends as assigned.

• Maintain punctuality and be prepared to work at the designated time for every scheduled or voluntarily accepted workday.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment by implementing the principles of the 5S methodology (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize, and support).
  • Fully comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications

Work Experience:

• Preferred 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

• Proficient in reading and comprehending documents such as safety regulations, work instructions, maintenance guidelines, employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; capability to round numbers and calculate averages.

• Capable of applying common sense and sound judgment to execute detailed written or oral instructions.

• Ability to address issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized scenarios.

• Must effectively interact with team members at all levels.
  • Ability to use hands for gripping, handling, and feeling parts.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment, including gloves, protective sleeves, safety glasses with side shields, and steel-toed footwear.
  • Ability to use hands, arms, and wrists continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to operate vibrating tools such as grinders, drills, sanders, etc., throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and write.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, reach, push, pull, carry, bend, twist, and stoop with components or other objects weighing up to 40 pounds within designated times.
  • Ability to use close vision, depth perception, and adjust focus to visually inspect part quality against standards.

• Willingness to work overtime for shifts of up to 12 hours per day, seven days a week.

• Ability to work in varying temperature environments.

• Ability to work in noisy environments requiring hearing protection.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
