About the Role

Bally's Corporation is a leading entertainment company seeking a skilled Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for all customers, team-members, and company assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Safe and Secure Environment: Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members, including maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
  • Access Control and Incident Response: Control access to restricted areas, respond promptly and appropriately to customer and team-member incidents and accidents, and monitor customer and team-member passage in and out of the casino.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Check for and report safety hazards, keep work areas clean and orderly, and comply with all policies and procedures established by the Missouri Gaming Commission, Bally's Kansas City, and departmental management.
  • Additional Duties: Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers, and perform other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and one year of experience in security is preferred.
  • Availability and Communication: Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, and read, write, and understand simple instructions.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
  • Performance and Adaptability: Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures, and use hand-held two-way radio, flashlight, and telephone.
  • Reporting and Writing: Ability to write clear and concise reports using correct grammar and punctuation, and knowledge of internal controls and Innkeeper Laws.
