We are seeking a full-time Animal Care Technician to join our mission-driven team. As the sole non-profit, comprehensive animal welfare organization in our area, we have a significant responsibility to support numerous individuals and their pets. Your contributions can make a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing animals for signs of illness, injury, or other health concerns and communicating findings to the veterinary staff.
- Commencing treatment for unwell animals in accordance with established medical protocols.
- Offering medical support and advice to our foster care volunteers.
- Reviewing and discussing medical histories with clients and team members.
- Providing technical assistance to our veterinary staff, including radiology, laboratory work, and support during surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with cats and other small animals.
This position requires availability to work one weekend day. We offer exceptional benefits, including a generous paid time off policy for full-time employees (such as 30 days in your second year of full-time service, and 35 days in your third year).
Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour, with additional pay considerations for certified veterinary technicians.
