About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and other veterinary technicians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, such as taking X-rays and conducting blood work
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to veterinarians
  • Assist with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, other veterinary technicians, and clients to ensure seamless care and treatment
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
  • 1+ year of experience as a veterinary technician in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
