Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

General Cleaning Duties
  • Ensure all areas of the building are kept tidy and organized.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

Specific Tasks
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary.
  • Dust and clean surfaces, including desks and tables.
  • Vacuum carpets and spot clean as needed.
  • Clean glass surfaces, including lobby doors.

Restroom Maintenance
  • Refill dispensers and ensure restrooms are stocked.
  • Sanitize toilets, sinks, and other fixtures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restroom floors.

Periodic Duties
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing floors and polishing furniture.
  • Clean high surfaces and overhead vents.
  • Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and landscaping.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred.

Work Environment

The role is performed in a variety of settings, including office environments and public spaces. Employees may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and equipment, and safety protocols must be followed at all times.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds, as well as perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
