Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Educator in a Long Term Care setting.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State.
  • Proven ability to effectively educate and motivate nursing staff.
  • CPR certification is required; CPR trainer certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with emergency preparedness and safety protocols.
  • Understanding of infection control measures and record-keeping requirements.
