Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services. As a home healthcare specialist, you will work with patients in their residential settings, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of patients.
  • Assess the home environment to ensure safety and provide recommendations for necessary modifications or equipment.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education to promote independence and well-being.
  • Accurately and timely document patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Home healthcare experience is recommended, but not required.
  • Candidates must have a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist (OTR).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, working with a variety of patients and medical professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
